Sounds like a weekend to forget.

    Darn closed wheel types anyway.

They lean on each other and still haven't figured out that you can't do that to a formula car.

As far as the pick up truck in the paddock, pick up truck kinda says it all.

    Hope your luck improves.

    Default Paddock damage

The paddock damage you experienced brings up the issue of insurance. For a very reasonable sum (probably less than a new rear cover will cost) you can get home/towing/paddock insurance on the car, based on the value you set for it. At a very rough estimate you can probably look at $10.00 per year per $1000 value. i.e. a car valued (by you) at $25,000 should be around $250 per year. Sounds a bit high until someone backs over your bodywork. Policies normally stop coverage when car is under its own power heading for the grid.

Charlie, which insurance companies have policies like this available? We asked our insurer (State Farm) about any kind of transport insurance (much less in the paddock) for the car and they wouldn't go near it.
