    Default Lotus 61 AM Number

Hi all. I know I am looking for a needle in a haystack her but thought I would give it a shot. Does anyone have an AM (Arch Motors) number plate that goes on the left rear of a Lotus 61? The upper link mounting plate where the frame ID is. Of course, the frame would need to be a total waste basket, rusted out, crashed, chopped up stuffed into a wall at 100mph or whatever. I just need the little piece of the frame for a project of mine. Let me know what you have and thanks for your time.

It’s just the piece of metal that was stamped by AM, not an added plate.

    Default AM

And that is all they had for an AM Plate. They also had a aluminium plate with the Lotus chassis # on it on the inside of the cockpit. The rumor is that Colin was not noted for making sure there was only one plate with that number.
