Default Van Diemen RF84 parts wanted, uprights, A-arms

Looking for any RF84 suspension pieces anyone may have left over. Specifically Uprights for a F2000(different than the F1600 variety) but would be interested in anything one might have.

Also trying to determine if there is some commonality between the 82/83/84 front uprights, if any early VD experts can chime in, visually they look the same, but I haven’t been able to measure one.

    Thanks for looking.

Dave, having owned both an 82 and an 84, I can tell you that there is nothing in common about the front uprights other than the general design. And you are correct, there is a difference between 1600 and 2 liter fronts as well. I just had Simon at URS make me a pair, and they turned out really nice. The newer style does not use the dreaded threaded collar to hold the bearing (I have not been able to find anyone that would make me some collars) - instead they just use a circlip

Cast rear uprights seem hard to find although I haven't got to the point of getting serious about it and have not spoken to Simon.

Thanks for the reply and info Bill. Interesting as URS said they couldn’t help with the front uprights. So, I’m on the lookout for a left front, or a pair of FF fronts I can make do with for now.
