Steering rack grease

Any thoughts on what I should use? I have a 91 citation.

I use Valvoline Synthetic chassis grease, the same as what I lube my 50 YO Chevy van tow vehicle suspension with.

Red n Tacky for me for everything except when something needs a “light” grease.

I like C.V. joint grease. It is light viscosity and contains moly.

For all the steering racks we repair here, we use Redline CV-2. In fact, we use that to grease every bearing we see.

Yeah that looks like good stuff. I’ll grab a tube of that.

My biggest complaint with the steering rack is that I can’t go anywhere near that end of the car without getting some of the grease on my clothing!

And halfway decent grease,especially if it has any moly in it,will be way more than good enough.
