Up for sale is my 2012 Piper DF5. This car has been very well maintained and has raced as recently as 6/9/2024 with FRP at PITT.
The car has just been teched by FRP for the 2024 Season
Equipped with the Aim G-Dash with Evo 4 system (with many sensors and GPS) and Smarty Cam (all functioning correctly, camera starts recording when engine is started).
Custom 3D printed parts include 3D printed aerodynamics for camera and roll bar as well as special custom cooling fins to direct air into side pods (SCCA and FRP legal).
This DF5 has Front and Rear cockpit adjustable anti roll bars.
New Wilwood LD19 calipers with thermolock pistons (4 race weekends on them)
New Tilton Brake Master cylinders (4 race weekends on them)
New Fast Forward brake rotors (4 race weekends on them)
New Blueprinted wheel bearings by Fast Forward Racing (1 race weekend)
New Steering Column, rack, and steering wheel quick release (2 Race weekends since new)
Ohlins TTX shocks on all 4 corners (1 race weekend since rebuild by Alan Oleary)
No play in any rod ends or eye bearings on any of the suspension on car whatsoever (always replaced with Aurora)
Lithium Ion Battery
Dan Campbell custom airbox with KN filter along with Fast Forward racing Billet restrictor plate
Mylaps transponder wired into car and included
Serpentine and oil pump belts replaced Last season
Willans harness good through 2026
Excellent condition Ron Davis Radiator and 1 race weekend on Mocal Oil cooler
Quicksilver engine
Clutch disc, flywheel, pilot bearing, release bearing, pressure plate replaced 5 race weekends ago (Only used to get moving)
Car runs cool and has not had any issues with temp
Only thing that car will need to race SCCA is the FIA rain light (can currently race FRP without this)
Complete Speedcom Motorola CP200D Digital radio system. Wired into car with button on steering wheel. Includes headset and chargers as well (Everything that you will need besides helmet ear buds and Mic). Car has upgraded Aero antenna.
I will be including a binder containing manuals, setup sheets, data, parts diagrams, etc.
Log Book and bill of sale also included
The car includes a very thorough set of spares, most parts are new.
