    Default Jim Rainey

It is with great sadness that I report the passing of
Jim Rainey on August 25th after a long illness.

Jim was a national caliber FV driver, astute businessman and most of all a great friend to all who knew him, especially in the FV community. We will miss his generous nature and infectious laugh.

    RIP, my dear friend.

Greg, thanks for posting. I haven't been to active here since I stopped racing. Jim was a good guy, for 7 years he and I worked together and raced together. We spent a lot of time together going around racing at MidDiv and South West Div tracks, plus the runoffs. Here is a picture of the way back (Mike posted this same photo on FB) Jim, my brother Dan, myself and Mikey Clem.

Everyone keep the Rainey family in your thoughts.

I painted Jim's FVs. I can't find a picture of the Vortech but here is one of him in his P2 Protoform.
