    Are these side body panels coated in kevlar?

    As far as I know everybody that makes those now has kevlar in them. The pennon ones I bought did

    I'm not suggesting you do it. But you can always tell kevlar form glass by drilling a small hole through it. It doesn't drill the same at all, the waste comes off the drilled section very differently. You can easily see it.

    kevlar fibers will be yellow in the drill hole.

    There is also black kevlar available from a couple dealers.
