For Sale 1997 Formula Mazda - 2x Formula Car Challenge champion

Time to finally let this one go! I raced it from 2009 to 2014 and won two Formula Car Challenge championships, then continued to run and maintain it for its current owner from 2014 up to now with many podium finishes. It's a 1997 chassis that's been well taken care of and never went too long sitting unused. The engine was rebuilt and sealed in the 2014/2015 off-season and has 6-7 full race seasons on it. I checked the compression on it about a year and a half ago and turned up with 111/112/112 PSI and 105/107/110 PSI on the rotors. It's only run about 5 or 6 days on track since then. Transmission was blueprinted by Taylor in Fall 2018, I've done regular checks and rebuilds on it since for basic parts replacements. Belts are up to date with 2027 expiration and Fuel Safe bladder expiring in 2028. It's also been upgraded to the heavy duty A-arms. It's completely ready to run on track, but if you want to race it in SCCA events it will need the new required FIA rain light.

Lots of random spares also included, see the picture below. Also included but not pictured: two sets of spare wheels, alignment frames/bars, and complete spare nose.

Car is located in zip code 93230, asking price is $18,500
