I don't know that many people who are stroking the 1600 out to 1800, your best bet might be to have your own motor rebuilt as an 1800 or obtain a spare 1600 and have it stroked.

Start with the 1800cc 7afe from the Toyota corolla, Tipping hundreds and thousands of them were sold in North America and not worth much from the wreckers. Plenty of Hybrid 7afe / 4age head engines are used in Motor sport here in Oz. lots in AE86 sprinter road cars as well. Most don't stop at 1800cc. Offset grind (stroke) the forged crank down to the 42mm 4age bearing size, Depending on final bore size you will have 1950cc. Argo do custom rods as will other suppliers. Off the shelf Porsche cam belt deals with the need for a longer cam belt due taller block deck height f the 7age vs the 4age block.

Thank-you but I believe you need to retain the 4age block to be legal in SCCA competition,

Brian Crower and MRP do stroker kits for the 4age block, As did HKS years ago. It will no doubt take some liberal work with the die grinder for the rotating assy to clear. Fitting H beam rods on a stock stroke crank already requires considerable material removal.
