Default Willans belts and availability in future

    Hi
I have been using the Willans Silverstone 633 single seater belts for at least 2 decades.
Partly because of FIA certification, but also the way the belts are made as it relates to installation in my PRS.
I need to replace them before the start of next season.
I have been told that they had to do a recall of their products due to faulty camlock release mechanism.
Does anyone have information as to whether they will be releasing new product and if so when?
    Thanks

    Default Recall

I use Willians belt also as work best in the Bowman, have for years. There was a recall over the winter. I had to send the latch back to my supplier and a new one was shipped to me. Not a big deal.

May not use next time as they made the loop at the end of the shoulder belts smaller and would not fit my existing mounts and had to re-engineer the system. But would like to go back to the way it was.

    Default Willans

Bought a number of sets this year. The recall was a a long time ago and painless - just sent us a new buckle and we sent the old one back

Had a fellow racer get stuck in his car last Feb. He did not know about the recall and the belts were new in January.
Took a little while to flip the buckle and remove the back plate so we could release the belts.

Seeing that, I bought a seat belt cutter that I am velcroing within reach.
