Has the drawings from my stock RF81 cell.
I sent my old cell and aluminum enclosure for them to copy in 2018.
It's under Stonebridge Sports and Classics
Give them a call and see if they still have my build sheet.

I needed a new cell for my Carbir FC a couple of years ago.
I tried Fuel safe they quoted 3 months and a very high price, the 3 months came and they did not know who I was...
I got Saldana to make me one, they are some ex Fuel Safe guys, half the price of Fuel safe, done much faster and the cell was able to handle alcohol fuels. I worked with a guy named Dave, dave@saldanaracingproducts.com I did send them a cel for them to copy.
Highly recommended.

$4800 ?!?!?!?
what are they selling you, if this is $850?

Mark at Pyrotech was the best option by far when I recently did the cell in my RF81. All the big players gave me the I really don’t want to do it price. They appeared to be much more interested in commercial accounts than a low budget racer who is going to buy one or two cells in a lifetime. Mark was great on communication and delivered the cell within a few days of the original committed delivery time.
Big money for a 81 cell. It has a rounded area for the driver and wrap around sides. MUCH cheaper to build a 4-5 gal wedge.
pyrotect treated me very well and they probably have my drawing. I may have a repairable battery-rad support but can’t get to it for a few months

I just put the 4 gallon cell into my RF81, I got it from Summit I think for 750. I them fabricated aluminum on 3 sides. Fit was perfect.
When I got the first couple of stupid prices for a cell for my RF81 I did what you did and started looking at all the stock size wedges available. I came to the same conclusion, they are all too wide at the bottom. Also when I realized my can wasn’t original. I ended up just sending my entire thing, can included to Pyrotech. Shoot me a PM with an email address if you want pictures dimensions of mine. I sketched this up and took lots of pictures while it was out. Sounds like you may need to get a shop to build a can as well.
The FC 140 will fit, put a 1 inch spacer below the cell, the back corner will fit snugly. I used a 1. Inch piece of fire proof roll bar padding
This is a stock RF81 cell or atleast what's left of one after you store an RF81 outside under a tarp for 10 years or so.
I'd be careful of putting in a generic Wedge cell in and it moving you too far forward in the cockpit that you now can't move the pedals and steering wheel far enough forward to compensate.

Pyrotect made a sweet custom fuel bladder for my Mygale FF1600 last year. I sent them the old one along with the mechanical insert. We made some slight changes to the size and it came out perfect ! 900.00 plus shipping.
The shop foreman was very professional and polite. Contacted me every step along the way, no guessing on the progress or shipping date. Don't hesitate to call them and inquire.
yes i am interested my email is hudracerpt@aol.com thanks dave
