    Default Open Classifieds Wanted

How do I post a FREE open classifieds wanted thread? There is no "post new thread" link on the open classifieds page.

    Thanks, Joe

You need to go into the "Open Motorsports Wanted" subforum: https://www.apexspeed.com/forums/for...rsports-Wanted

I did and I still don't see a link to start a thread. I opened a thread in the Formula Ford subform but I am unable to in the open classifieds

Nope...not mine. Maybe it is a Safari thing. I will try Chrome and see if it works.

Update: It does not work in Chrome either. My annual Classified subscription just ran out so maybe it has to do with that? Is should be FREE but maybe not?

I haven't had a classified subscription active in months, but I can see it. Image below:

    Default Not for everyone

I also don't see it either, probably browser related.

My page looks the same but without the "post new thread" link.

I have Safari and Chrome and it is missing in both.

I sent a PM to the admin.

In this case, I wasn’t, so my brain was missing.

    Hate that!

    Default Free ads

There was an issue with forum permissions on the free sections of the classifieds.

It should all work now but you must be a logged in registered user.

    Thanks,

    KR

    Hi Keith,
The "Post New Thread" button seems to be everywhere except in the "Open Motorsports Wanted" area.

I have the black "Post New Thread" box in the upper LH area of the Open Motorsports Wanted page. I'm using Google Chrome. I am showing the screen capture that I showed previously, but it still looks the same now.

Did you try clearing your browser's cached images and files?

    Garey,

Can you try it again? The only way I get the button to go away is if I'm not logged in.

I made a small change to your user registration to see if that helps.

    Thanks,
    KR

Thanks! I was logged in when I tried. The "post new thread" is now available and works.
