I raced FV years ago and I have recently found a Club FF I'm thinking of buying. As I recall the three things I spent the most money on was entry fees, tires and lodging. I plan to camp out. What will I spend on the other two?

With a Club Ford the tires depend on who you race with. If you go the vintage route (VDCA), you will likely purchase a set of Hoosier treaded VFF tires at the beginning of the season and run them all year. About $1000 including mounting and balancing. I usually get 4-5 weekends out of a set and I run at the pointy end of the grid. If you run mid pack, you should get another weekend possibly more out of them.
Entry fees will also depend on who you race with. The VDCA cost $350-700 depending on the track. There are other vintage clubs on the East Coast you may want to consider depending on have far you are willing to travel. Here is a link to the VDCA, VRG and FFCS.

I'm in the southeast.....
Entry fees for the upcoming CFR Regional at Daytona are in the event Supps here: https://dl.motorsportreg.com/33a290a...-7d82f17db611/
Robby is 100% correct. Towing is one of the major costs of racing today. My three highest costs for a typical race weekend are entry fees, lodging and Diesel fuel. My GMC 3500HD gets approx. 10 miles to the gal. towing. My most recent event with VDCA at VIR cost me $700 for entry fees, $615 for hotel and $540 for Diesel fuel. VDCA's 2 day event at Roebling Road in Feb. cost me $350 for entry fee, $300 for hotel and $250 for diesel fuel. These will be my two extremes for the three highest weekend costs racing with the VDCA from central Florida.
YMMV, Joe
