    Default Exhaust noise

I need help to pass Limerock's noise limit with a Crossle 16F Kent motor. Is a super trap the way to go? If so how many plates will it take?

    Thanks for the help

    Default Vscca

Which VSCCA event are you thinking of entering? Some at Lime Rock have are open limit - Kent should have no issue passing, others use the Lime Rock mufflered day track limit.

This is what we used in RCCA on FF's in the 80's to pass Limerock sound limits on muffled days and every race at Bridgehampton.

Pulling enough plates out of a Supertrap to make fully muffled LRP limits will most likely cook the exhaust valves out of the cylinder head.

Back in the 90's I autocrossed and road raced a FF. Autocrossing required a muffler so I ran a Super Trapp with all the plates it came with and it wasn't very loud at all.

    Default Bidgehampton DB Limit..

I ran a Supertrap with all the plates and never got busted.
Supertraps are easy to adjust to a tracks DB limit.
Just go with your instinct and see what happens.Worst is you have to remove a Plate or Two..

    Default Sound limit

Thanks for the advice, I will give the super trap a try, hopefully this is the only event I need to use it.
