Question:
Does anyone trailer a Formula F in a 7.0-foot-wide enclosed trailer?
Thank you for the assistance!

Yes, but the door width then becomes more important than the trailer width.
Caldwell D9B - Sold
Crossle' 30/32/45 Mongrel - Sold
RF94 Monoshock - here goes nothin'
The door opening is the important part. My Featherlite rear door opening is 70". The tires just fit between the rails on the ramp door which are about 67" wide.

Been using a 7 x16 for almost 10 years. Great to tow and store but honestly now getting to be painfully small since wanting to haul more to the track and camp inside.

My veenose 18 x 7 trailer takes a max width FF/FC car with several inches extra.
I chose that size because I thought it was the maximum that my 1/2 ton short wheelbase pickup would tow adequately. It was sensitive to load and required towing slowly. The gearing in my truck did not like my target towing speed so kept changing in and out of top gear. Overall result was massive fuel cost, about the same as my duelly with 47' trailer. I needed a bigger truck or smaller trailer

Had to use my 7' wide trailer for the FF one weekend as bigger trailer had issues. Getting it in and out of the door was not a problem. It was the cable for the door lift assist that were a real pain to get the car by. And this was with transport wheels/tires.

I went with a 16 ft. plus a 30" V nose x 8.5' width for hauling the Ford. A lot easier to get around inside with less stepping over the tires, suspension, and whatever else. All the room I need for a weekend.
I tow with a F150 crew cab with the 2.7L turbo and it rolls fine at 65 mph. I'm not comfortable beyond that towing a trailer. Make the effort to load the trailer evenly as that helps with everything. If you buy a new trailer, use the original tires a year, maybe two. After that, ditch them and go to a Goodyear Endurance or a Hankook tire. Trailers are sold with a junk Chinese made tire and they'll let you they are junk on Sunday night on the way home, most likely in the dark.
Whatever length/width you end up with, you'll find stuff to fill it up that you think you should bring along. That's who we are!
Good Luck!
I wanted a trailer that was as big as I needed and no bigger. Ended up with a 7'X16' Sure-Trac V-nose, with the additional 6" of ceiling height. With the Crossle, tool chest, fuel jugs, spare parts bins, canopy, generator, extra tires, etc., it's pretty maxed out but it's serving its intended mission very well. The additional 6" ceiling is a must for loading/unloading and working at the track but its does seem to have a slight fuel economy penalty.

Thanks for the advice on a trailer!

I bought one of these for my tire storage. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I bought a rolling tire rack that I put in the front of the trailer along the right wall opposite the side door. Plenty of capacity, no worries about secure mounting to the wall and can just roll the tires into the garage.

I have a very similar unit bought from Amazon, but I think mine folds flat, originally bought it for the shop. I will say that you need to regularly check that those bolts are tight, or replace them with proper hardware. The fasteners that come with, are a special grade of self loosening technology.
