ApexSpeed 2023 Sim League Interest

Hi all,
Trying to find the motivation to get another sim league going this winter. Please reply to this post if you're interested. Races will likely be week day evenings between 7-9CST. Not exactly sure just yet. The sim will likely be rF2 and we'll likely run a small bore open wheel car as we usually do. If we can get 10 or more people who are "in", I'll likely move forward with it. A fun run will also likely happen within the next week or two once we have a head count.

Yes for sure if it is RF2!

CRSR is currently in between series. Should start up again in a few weeks. Have been running on M-W night 8:00 pm CST. So T or TH should be free.

I will bring at least 2 with me, and possibly 5. Love the small bore Formula cars - USF-17 or the Pro Formula Mazda.

Only one ask: Please include Willow Springs! (the version w/o the walls)

I like the USF-17 car. The Tatuus PM-18 is nice as well. A bit quicker, similar handling.

Although iRacing is better in the graphics department, the beautiful thing about iRacing is that you don't need an organized league for it. Just be being a subscriber, you're already in the biggest sim league on the planet. Not to mention, expecting everyone to buy a track that we would plan to run at $16 a pop is asking a bit much.

Car is part of the game so should be able to get off steam. The track will auto download when you try and log onto the server. Just make sure you try and log on way before the race as it takes a while and bogs down the server a bit.

I'm actually testing out Automobilista2 and have set up a server for that. The graphics of rF2 really have me wanting something better in that regard. The problem with AMS2 is that the track packs cost money. I need to find time to look into it more. I can change the track on the rF2 server though.

Keith, understood on the time aspect! I presently don't have AM2 but could get it.
How do I find the server?

Still very interested in RF2 Apex series using the USF-17. If I can assist in any way, please let me know.

Just using the keyboard. I think the trade-off in analog control with a controller vs the speed of the keyboard kind of balances out.

Would it be possible to change the current track on the server? For some reason Daytona has weird track cut error that the only way to avoid it is to run on the apron.

Also: You indicated you had Am2 server up? I am obtaining a copy today, how do I get to your server?

Sure, I can change it out. The AMS2 server is up, but I haven't even tested it yet or even loaded up AMS2 yet on my sim rig. I'll post once I know it's working, but the server name is ApexSpeed if you can search in whatever multiplayer option they have. I'm still not positive I have all the correct ports forwarded yet to my server or not.

Ok Keith. I have AMS2 now. Have not tried it yet but will soon.
If you don't mind changing the track on the RF2 server I would appreciate it.
Change it to Mosport maybe? I have never ran that track in RF2.

I'll try joining in and see how it goes. Have a hell of time un the USF17 not going airborne cresting turn 5. RF2 seems to exaggerate that a bit.
