    Default Van Diemen RF86 restoration

Well here it is, the ex-Paul Tracy Van Diemen RF86 FF2000. Not quite finished due to Coronavirus, but I hope I have done it justice!

Possibly explains why the original nose has so many repairs and weighs so much

More pictures, this time 'before' instead of 'after'...

The first photo is the car as it came. All I'd done at this point is cleaned off the worst of the dust and dirt, and separated the chassis, engine & gearbox. The second photo is one of the areas of chassis damage I had to put right.

    Beautiful Job!

Maybe it's my age but I really like the look of that generation of race car.
