Toying with the idea of getting into the world of FC. I currently run a VD 98K FF, and like the fit. I’m wondering if there are any 97 VD FCs out there looking for a home???
Cheers

No 97 but ive got a 2001 with a brand new zetec that I would make you a heck of a deal on?
Scott
I have a 97 that I've been toying around with the idea of selling. It currently has the engine out for rebuild, but has been campaigning with our team for the last several seasons and is very much a race-ready car (once the engine is back in.) Otherwise we'll continue renting it out.
Feel free to email me cade@wrenchaholics.com. Or check out our FB page @Wrenchaholics - it's the red car with white/black gears stickered on the tail.
Cheers,
Cade

Did you bang your head entering the cockpit? Hypoxia? Thought you just cleared medical. I’m sending Jamie a copy of that post
John,
You say you like the fit of a '98 but would be interested in a '97.
I have had a '98 VD FC and a '97 VD FC. The '97 has a decidedly narrower cockpit, just so you know.
Cheers.
Michael Lensen.
I have a 98K FF. The “K” (Factory produced FF in 98), is the same chassis as the 97 FC, or FF. It is narrower than the newer design 98 FC from Van Diemen, which is wider. This I understand.
Cheers

Ric,
Go back to sleep.
Nope. The RF98K is not the same frame as a RF97. Similar, maybe even very similar, but not the same. The chassis tubes, especially around the floor and the fuel cell, are different.
The RF98K is a unique frame. Many parts from the RF97 and RF98 fit, but not all of them.

Must be a typo ?
