    Default Weber TC head

    Gents;

    I am looking at a TC head that the previous owner removed the intake studs in favor of bolts. I don't get it, but that's the story and I'm sticking to it.

    I have visited with my long time friend in Dave Bean, and he suggests heli-coils, but I desire authenticity. Is there anyone on the planet that can fill the holes with weld, then drill and tap to accept the original studs?

    Helicoils are stronger and the metal in that area is tough to weld. Unfortunately we lost Dave to a heart attack last Sunday.

    Could you not use step studs where one thread is larger than the other.

    Robert;

    "L" block numbered 701M6015BA? LAA, LA or LB? T number?
