I've decided I can't make time to get this to the track. I purchased it in October 2015 from Rick Ross who had done ALOT of work to get it top condition but never finished assembling it.

We got it here at my shop and finished the job over a period of about 4 months.

All the critical components have been crack checked.

The tub was gone through at Algie Composites.

Dyno time only Loyning engine w/carbs.

Top of the line PI "Delta" logger and dash.

Fresh "everything"

Has numerous spares, gear sets, wheels (unassembled) that I have not inventoried

Needs belts and a couple of little things.

• Zero-mile fresh Loyning Toyota 4AGE #1074 (dyno time only)
• Weber carbs

Suspension/Steering

• New Hyperco hydraulic spring perches (4)
• Rebuilt steering rack (K-Hill)
• New rear rocker mounting block by Fast Forward
• New rocker bearings and thrust washers
• New custom made front damper mount
• New “Pro-Coat” black coating applied to most suspension pieces
• All worn rod ends replaced
• Uprights inspected and cleaned by Fast Forward
• New steering shaft apex joints


Tub

• Tub No. 1015
• New engine mount studs in tub
• Re-bushed engine trunion aft mounting holes
• New Halon fire bottle and new mechanical activation cable
• New battery and starter electrical cables


Wheels

• Two disassembled sets of Jungbloed wheels
• Jungbloed wheel centers crack checked and re-coated
• One set of Kodiak wheels

I thought that with everything that has been done to the car and the very high end Pi system I would get "some" interest..

I'm surprised as well. Sounds like a reasonable package & price to me. But then again, I have four cars that I don't have time for so what do I know!

I know how meticulous both Keith and Rick are, and I've been hearing about the refurbishing (for the past 3-5 years?), so there's no doubt in my mind that this car is as close to perfect as possible.

There are only two reasons why I haven't bought it (and you can probably guess them. :-)

I know a little bit about Rt40 & 41s.....this is an amazing deal, and a giveaway price for the car...and , yes, I have looked at it closely.....The RT40 is still faster than most of us.....Villeneuve and Bourbonnais were practicing in the 13"s at Road Atlanta with the Dip....

Having purchased a car from Keith in the past... very reputable seller.

You are talking about one of the fastest cars in SCCA racing at about 1/3 the price of a competitive FC.

I was just talking with Keith (the seller), and we were wondering what happened to this car? It was bought by someone who was a VIR member, but we can't recall his name. This was a really nice Ralt, and I hope someone has been enjoying it for the past few years.

Does anyone have any ideas regarding the status/location of this car? Thanks!

I am a VIR member and run a couple cars in the open wheel category but don't recall seeing this car last year. Of course, if the color was changed from these photos, it may have been there in 'disguise'.

Thanks for the response. I actually recently located this car and touched base with the owner. He has not had the car on track since his purchase. Hopefully the car will make an appearance at VIR soon.
