Registration is now open for the 2016 ARRC (http://www.motorsportreg.com/events/...6#.V_PFyj8VC73). Rumor has it that 30 FEs may show up. Let's make that a reality!

There are 9 cars registered for Saturday's race and 12 for Sunday's feature race. If you're planning on going, please sign up. This could be our largest race (hearing over 20 cars) in years and would set a tone for the health of the class going into next season.

If there's anyone at the track who has access, please keep us up to date on how the weekend goes.....
We just completed Race 1. I won, Flinn Lazier was second, and Elliott Finlayson was third. Scott and I had an awesome battle at the start. But, he had an issue in T1 while trying to pass me and smoked all four tires through the gravel trap. His car will be fine for tomorrow. Guys are getting faster and it'll be a battle for the feature race!

Now that I'm back from the ARRC, and have caught up on sleep and work... Damn. What a cool event!
This was Becker and my first trip to Road Atlanta. I'm very impressed with the track, and the event was equally well put on. We had some solid speed, but didn't have ANY good luck in the races... Oh well, I was promised affordable, equal racing...not success!
Thanks for putting it on for us. Hope to see even more cars next year!

I still feel horrible for playing a major role in Becker's very short race on Sunday. I made a low-percentage move on him in T10a on the opening lap. We ended up touching wheels with his left-rear going over my right-front. That sent us into the gravel trap and caused him to get stuck while I was able to drive through and continue to race. It's ridiculous how me, as the aggressor, was able to continue and the victim was left stranded. Racing can be cruel and I'm very sorry for what happened. I've been on the receiving end of similar events and I know the disappointment. I've even been left without an apology...at the Runoffs...after a week of anticipation. But for me, if I make a mistake and affect someone else's day, I'll always own up, admit fault, and apologize. Becker was certainly getting faster as the event progressed. I look forward to racing with him next season!

Paul, as I said earlier, I appreciate your sincerity. I'll happily race you anytime.
The weekend was still a good one for us. You can control your effort, but not your results! We are still getting quicker, and there are many awesome weekends coming.
