    Default Anyone else try a Greenlee Bender

    Had to make my own dies but I kinda like the one hand Push Button control and the High Torque DC Motor. That and between a protractor and level makes repeatability fairly easy





    Ya - as a matter of fact I did cut off one of the legs for slightly more complex bends - but I saved the pieces so its ok

    have used a MANUALLY operated Greenlee in the construction of Trans-Am race winning and SCCA National Championship cars......

    With the number of Solar Companies getting out of the business here on the Left Coast as the rebates expire these things are getting cheaper by the day

    That looks pretty interesting. I like the fact that by the one picture you can start another bend very close to another which opens up more possibilities in designing hoops. I have a Hossfield that we added a long travel trailer jack for power but you need at least 4-5" between bends for it to work and it takes quite a while to do the top bend because of stopping and repositioning the bender. I really like the Baileigh line of benders but since I don't do much bending anymore I haven't switched to a better faster bender.
