The Hoosier Tire US Formula 1000 Championship has announced the prize fund for the 2014 year which will include a substantial increase in prize payouts over 2013. In addition to contingency prizes, a cash prize fund for 2014 totaling $14,500 will be awarded to top finishers in both the East and West Divisional championships, with an additional $3,000 payout going to the overall nationwide US Formula 1000 Champion Driver.
Cash Prize payouts will be awarded per the following schedule:
East & West final Championship Driver Standings
Champion Driver - $3000
2nd Place - $2000
3rd Place - $1000
4th Place - $750
5th Place - $500
Overall US Formula 1000 Champion
Champion Driver - $3000
