What model Royale??
RP-14, RP-18. My very first race car was an RP-18A. Really neat, if a bit heavy, car.
if it's a 72 it has to be a -14. There was a red one for sale up in the bay area for years that looked like it rolled off the track and into a (somewhat humid) time capsule. Maybe that is this car.
Does it have a rear wing? Mine has fiberglas front wings but no rear wing, and the body has molded-in fairings for the wings.
...an RP14, #14. Has all log books, original sales receipt from Royale and a separate one for the Hewland too.
It didn't have wings on it when customer purchased it but he wanted some so we built and installed them. Rear is a post style, front has a frame extension that captures a cross tube that each wing slides on to.
The nose does have the molded in wing fairings as well.
Definitely a fun ride!
