I just wanted to see what the reaction was for our series future rules.
Rather than having a shifter pole....

We need one of them in the Hospitality Center.
OK, OK : I won't do anymore polls....

Jon, you can do more polls, leave the pole to Bill and some other social deviants. How about a keg of beer at the hospitality tent? I know, since this is a real pro open wheel event, get the grid girls to serve champaign in real glass flutes? Did I say that right?
I think I'll stick to beer.
If I register now for the series, do the rules allow me to pre-select my stripper?

Ok, Bill. We'll keep it down to a dull roar. But don't forget, warm ups start in November! Same time, same channel.

Restricted as it is now or as is being proposed for 2012 with the weight penalty?
Nice, smooth James (hope his wife isn't on here!)
Yeah, I wouldn't mind getting a couple of them parallel to my reference plane.
yes to open shifter, no to restrictions, no weight restrictions.
someone's been smokin' that pole... Wait, that din' sound right...
The poll is running neck and neck - OBVIOUSLY some double voting goin' on, haning chad's ACORN type shee-ott goin' down, right here, right now.
I seem to remember being able to see who voted which way for poll's in the past.
Now - not so much. Maybe it was not helping keep folks all harmonious and stuff.

Open shifter rule.....zero weight penalty......

I think the 2 polls are actually asking different questions.
The 1st one (I think) is asking about the current proposal that would result in a specific weight penalty.
The 2nd one (I think) is asking about the "concept" restricting the shifting.
However, I have been confused before and may be again.

The way it reads to me:
Open shifters- Yes means you're for anything goes. No means you're for anything else. A lot of grey area here.
I voted one time only. Since the results seem so close, maybe what we need is......Another Poll?
Here's your bloody shifter!!!

Richard,
That looks like a shifter that could be a pole! Just need a girl driver.
Been wondering how many of the younger generation recognize who that drawing is by!
