Can anyone tell me the maximum width of a standard FM (tall man roll bar)?
How wide an open trailer would be necessary?
(Searched but couldn't find.)
Thank you.

The overall width is roughly 6'. Nose to tail length is about 14'. If you take the nose piece off you can gain about a foot. Overall height is about 48".
Most standard car haulers will fit one, although you're going to probably need some 2x4's on the ramps due to the low ride height of the car (or jack the front of the trailer way up).
Thank you, Sam.
So, the car needs a 72-inch wide trailer to support the outside of the tires? (No issues with the inside.)
Essentially, the narrowest hole the car can fit through is 72 inches wide?
Do these cars frequently use transport wheels? If so, do you know the width with those?
you need a 7 x 16 car hauler with a dovetail. Two axles with brakes on one. 'bout 1500.
I'm going by memory, but I'm pretty sure my door opening is 72" wide and I have about 1 1/2 - 2" clearance on each side of the rear tires. It's tight but I drive it in, back it out no problem. So, IIRC, it's 68" out to out on the rears. Transport wheels would decrease that width a bunch.
