Not again Matt.. Nascar awaits all F1 castaways....the Southern soul of Bubba must be turning in his grave..
As JV fan, I can't wait to see him take out Jeff Gordon the first time, and the maybe the second, ....third.....fourth....

"Here's my take.........keep the wetbacks and foreigners out of American racing!!
Americans should be racing for American money!"
He's from Canada...not France...moron.
I'm going to assume that Jack has not landed his dream ride in NASCAR because nobody wants to give him $25 mil. to whine after each weekend (sounds much like his singing)....... Better for the show - maybe - I think they have enough whiners though....... What they need in NASCAR is an Iron Shiek type.... car sponsored by Iran - The suspense of who will do it and on what lap will keep them in the seats

What is that all about, to me this means SEX, or is this some new fangled speed talk, I still like "Dan Amon" ..... Left left. lefft, now straight straight foot hard down straight, a real test of American racing, now I do know that none of the guys here will be tempted, to develop a relationship and drive in cut down pick up trucks or Nazcar eh!

problem is DP cars are essentially a spec car, busch cars are aparently going away, trucks aren't all that different and creative and the car of tomorrow is....well.....
when is a business not a great idea?............when the stock holders decide that their value does not continue to increase in the manner it did years ago
i like matt's idea. some crossed scimitars on the hood. a franco looking kind of guy from gumball rally with a death race 2000 mentality.....i'm coming for you ricky bobby.......
Well I dont think Jeff will have to worry about JV hitting him unless Jeff is lapping him, thats about the only way they will come in contact. Im so sick of people coming into an American sport like Nascar. I didnt mind Juan Pablo crashtoya too much but now I am really getting frustrated and I think it will show in the fan count. I like Formula 1 and I Love Nascar. I dont like Formula Nascar!!! Yeah it might bring other fans but it will lose its original basin. What would Dale Earnhart Sr. do? Hmm maybe he would just spin them and put them in the wall. Who is going to step up>?

When they were at Mosport last weekend one of the ALMS drivers ( can't remember which one ) was asked how he thought Jacques would manage racing a truck.
His reply:
" Should be no problem for him, after all that's what he drove for his last few seasons in F1"
American SPORT? Nascar is the WWF of Motor Racing, I've always thought so, and Tony Stewart (who's a real race driver) said so himself.
There's about as much SPORT in Nascar as as there is on "Emeril Live".
Now that they have the COT, and $100,000 fines for violating even the smallest rule, Nascar is absolutely no different than running a Spec Racer with more prize money. The number of Ford, Dodge, Chevrolet, or Toyota parts in a Nascar racer is about as many as there are in my F2000. The only difference between them is the sticker on the front bumper cover.
If the entertainment business needs some more actors (to make money!), they get them from wherever they want. So if Nascar needs more entertainers, why not get them from Canada? Isn't that what they'd do in Hollywood? The real racers in Nascar are laughing all the way to the bank.
Just my $0.02....

You can bet that the outcome of every WWF match is pre-determined and the whole thing is orchestrated. If you think NASCAR is like that, then OK. It's a free speech country. NASCAR bashing is a popular sport on this forum, so you'll have plenty of company. Nevertheless, it's pretty naive. Do you really think they wouldn't fix races for Junior if they could? Get real.
A lot of NASCAR fans don't like the COT any more than you do. I don't either. You can bet they'll tinker with the formula or scratch it altogether if it hurts the following. Those good 'ole boys didn't get dumb overnight.
Outcome fixed? Don't believe it.
Outcome influenced? ABSOLUTELY
I have many bitches about NASCAR....however, the keep it 'merican mentallity of many of the intollerant fans is enough to seal the deal for me. You're right Sr. probably would wreck them. That advancing by contact is quite a skill .
I don't like that many of the sports better racers are migrating there....if the money were the same elsewhere I'd like to think they wouldn't. It isn't and probably never will be. Shame.
