    Default Citation Z-16

Car was purchased new in 1983 by first owner who ran approx. 10 races over the '83/'84 seasons. Car was put into heated storage till sold in mid '90's. Second owner ran only a few open track days. Again, put into heated storage till purchased in early 2000's as a project car. Car ran a couple of open track days to ensure proper running condition. Brought into race shop and began updating and restoration program. Owner's son went off to college and project was halted. Car is nearly complete other than to finish wiring and plumbing.

Car has never been run since the following work and materials were completed.

Front inboard rear outboard long wheel-base chassis design. (Have original adapter rings
    for short wheel-base.)
    Original Williams regional engine.
New annular clutch release w/Tilton clutch.
    Laminova oil/water heat exchanger.
    New ATL fuel cell.
New brake calipers, discs, wheel bearings.
    All new master cylinders.
    Rebuilt Bilstein shocks w/Hyperso springs.
    Tilton Super Starter
All suspension components original and like new.
All new Aurora rodends, jam nuts, highgrade hardware, etc.
New shift linkage joints w/saddle washers.
New light weight CV's, boots, etc.
    New sheet metal including bulkheads.
Custom sluminum nose box. (Have original mounting bracket.)
Cockpit adjustable rear sway bar and brake bias adjusters.
MyChron 3 MXL dash and data logging system with sensors.
Momo steering wheel w/splined quick release.
    Original radiators in perfect condition.
Body work is complete. Needs minimal fiberglass work and paint.
    Aluminum tanks like new.
    Original headers w/no cracks.
Set up for in-car radio system. (Radios available separately.)
3 sets of wheels including gold-center Panasport.
All chassis and mechanical work done at RIC Racing shop.

Base price for car only is $9,900 OBO. This is as close to an original unused car as you may ever find.

    Negotiable spares include:

Complete undamaged spare chassis and body work.
    New spare calipers and discs.
Welding fixtures for front and rear uprights.
Set of Motorola radios for driver and crew along with tall pit antenna.

Delivery negotiable within the northeast. Car is located in New Hampshire.

This is not my car. It belongs to Rick Hiland of RIC Racing. I've worked on the car and am simply helping out with the sale.

You can contact me at catdon3@verizon.net or Rick Hiland and rhiland@comcast.net or call the shop at 603-224-9264.

To those who contacted me about the Citation, I was out of town for a few days and will reply soon.

As was pointed out in another thread, it will cost you more to restore an older car to this level than is being asked. You can see from the photos that some of the plumbing is completed. This car is 85 to 90% complete. We have other work that prevents us from finishing this car. Also would like more shop space.

Car qualifies as Club Ford for both SCCA and vintage groups.

Sold! Thanks to Apex and all those who responded to the ad. New owner is in Chicago area. I would rather the new owner identify himself in his own time.

    Thanks again.
