Agree - Yuk - ugly - distracting to the eyes.
I kinda like it! Invigorating even!
Does the fact that it's 3/17 have something to do the (temp?) change?!

Maybe I'm old, but I can remember when computer screens used green phosphorus and had black letters....
this is retro, but good for today!
Ah a new eye opening color.
Maybe make it red next week

Boy the colors here for St Paddy's Day went right over my thick head.
At the Turn of the 20th Century in England, Parliament enacted the law requiring a man on foot waving a red flag to precede a motorcar on public roads. Ridiculously low speed limits were enacted.
It was the Irish who invited the wealthy English sportsmen racers over to race their cars through the Irish countryside early in the 20th century.
In gratitude, the racers painted their cars various shades of dark green.
Let's raise a pint to the Irish to honor their hospitality and generosity to the racers.
“Racing makes heroin addiction look like a vague wish for something salty.” -Peter Egan
I was fortunate to drive around the west of Ireland with my family two years ago. Great country, great people, great roads. The only problem was the diesel van I was stuck driving. More than once (like pretty much constantly) I wished I was in a real car. But shifting left handed was kind of interesting.
Anything is possible, until it is proven impossible.
Interesting night tonight... on St Paddy's Day... the first time in 30 years (and drinking in pubs all over the world) I got thrown out of a bar - at a supposedly Irish Pub for throwing a little round of butter - yes butter - at the owner.
I really threw it at a guy drinking Bud Light, for not having a real beer. I missed, but the butter bounced off the bar and landed near the feet of the owner.
Today in America, we all have to fall in line and not be different. Thank God for Formula Car racing. We get to live closer to the edge.
Happy St Patrick's Day to all.
Dave W - would think you of all people would not have an aversion to lime green. I seem to remeber a certain Lime Green and Orange Gojo Citation FF in 1982! I thought that car looked way cool. As I recall your helmet was even split half orange and half green.
I guess we shouldn't expect any Lime / Orange throw back paint schemes (ala Mark Martin) any time soon.?

And its true - Saint Patrick drove the snakes from Ireland......... They all swam to NY and became lawyers........or yankee's.

Hey DaveW,
What happened to the (Runoffs-winning in-the-rain) Lime Green D-13 FV??
I was there, flagging.

I thought for sure that I remembered seeing a lime green d-13 going up T1 in the rain...
Must have been the psychedelics I was using back then... (not while flagging though)
Oh well, yet another Senior Moment.. coming on more frequently now.
Yup - those were GOJO colors when they were sponsoring me! I liked it better on the car, tho, than on the screen.Originally Posted by Mark_Silverberg
