Wow, new cars. Whatever they are next called, bring your Van Diemen RF-03SR to Atlanta in May. Erik or Jon can land a deal for the name, go to it and give us big stickers for the wings, we can use them to hold on the wickerbills. Jon, when is the Cooper testing in Atlanta?
There is an update on the American Lemans web site about the new Elan Sports Racer.

In the American LeMans press release the picture of the Elan VD car looks just like the SRSCCA body. What is the difference between a SRSCCA car and an Elan VanDiemen?

The new Van Diemen is a Carbon fiber tub much like the Star Mazda cars, while our SCCA cars are tube frame. It looks like they also use the Formula X bodywork and wing rather than the SCCA bodywork. I would expect they are using a much higher HP version of the 2.3 motor also.
The two cars are so similar in appearance that the general public probably will not be able to tell the difference. They'll just wonder why the five at the back are such slugs....
