The 2005 FF/CFF East vs West Challenge is in the books. The series continues to grow in stature. A record total of 60 drivers entered one or more of the eight races. The average car count was 24 with a high water mark of 29 entries at Road America. The Lamont Cup will stay on the east side of Lake Michigan as the East team topped the West, 428 to 359.

The .xls file attached to this thread contains everything anyone would want to know about this year's FF/CFF East vs West Challenge: race results, driver points, team points, contingency awards, prize drawing winners, and sponsor contact information. Refer to your EWC "welcome" letter for contingency award eligibility requirements.

Over the last couple of days, I have sent e-mails out to everyone who won a contingency award or drew a prize. If you won something but did not receive an e-mail, I don't have a current e-mail address for you. Please check in.

Thanks again to all the drivers, sponsors, and region partners who made the 2005 EWC the biggest and best regional level FF1600 series on the planet. We all win when car counts are up.

Preparations for the 2006 EWC are already underway. Details to follow.
