Can I ask did you have it Jet hot coated?
No coating. I am pretty sure the header cracking (this is the second time on the same #3 pipe but I welded the first time) is due to the fact that I heat wrapped the headers last year while trying to solve the melted shifter cable problem. I have been told this will make the mild steel get brittle. Regular oiling with WD40 after removing the heat wrap must not be enough.

My CSR checked with Enterprises and they want like $1,400 for the whole assembly including that useless muffler. CSR whined and Enterprises is going to spend some time seeing if they can break up the pieces. Otherwise, it is back to the welder for me (although 6 layers of asbestos cloth and 5 hose clamps worked great through two races).

Did you check burns stainless to see if they have what you need? They have collectors and exhaust components for just about everything and they are first rate? Unless of course enterprise/rules prohibit you from doing so.

The exhaust IS a spec part.
My CSR has succeeded in getting Enterprises to sell me just the 1-2 and 3-4 sections without the collector, muffler and tailpipe for half the full system price. Now the price is only twice what it is worth instead of four times.
