John,
The national points have been updated through Kershaw on the SEDIV racing website www.sedivracing.org. I assume that means they are official.

Chuck, It must be a conspiracy. I couldnt find any 2005 results listed on the dsr site either.
I found the results you mentioned listed under the forums, but they are still provisional. I would have thought that if they were given to the points keeper they should be official. I have already spoken to some of the stewards, but based on what happened with Fahan's protest and appeal it would be to no avail for me to contest the results. Funny thing tho, seems that they screwed up the group 5 race as well, gave Mucha the checkered and not the rest of the csrs....

Hey John,
I'm a little confused (not the first time). They have you listed as third on the Results. With your one position penalty that would be correct. They may have laps and times off but the position is correct. You do realize you never lapped Burkhardt right? He was about 20 seconds behind you when you ran into your problem he passed you on track for position, next lap Don unlapped himself from you,So you were still in second. Then a one position penalty moved Don in front of you. So third would be correct.

John,
I think the results are really screwed up, .. I think I lapped the entire field
at least three times, ..
It was good to see you, .. enjoy my time with you, ..
As for results, .. I don't know if it'll ever get "fixed", .. but it does seem like the
positions are correct. But, .. if they doen't even have times for some cars, .. how
can they be sure of the results?

Cant someone post the results for FF and FC? If so, it would be appreciated.
Jim,
Maybe I am wrong, but I did lap Mike. He had spun 4 times during the race and had just passed Bagget before the start/finish line at the checkered to take the position from him. Mike had passed me in T11 on the last lap then went after Don. The other thing that added to the confusion was that the steward had informed me that after the penalty I would be second. By what you are saying, Mike lapped Bagget. I just really want to see an official scoring sheet and possibly a lap chart. That is why I was hoping it was posted on mylaps. The really strange thing is that the CDS shows a distance greater then 23 laps, 1 pace, 21 race, then 1 cool off (didnt have the beacon out).

I think I might have figured this one out.... Burkhardt and my cars look alot alike.
This gets a little complicated, stick with me.
Actually that was me that passed you in turn 11 of the last lap unlapping myself from you Burkhardt and I do have similiar colored and funny looking fords. He had passed you earlier.
Perhaps you mistook me for him earlier. You lapped me when I was in fourth just behind Baggett who was in third. You then passed Baggett. In short order you slowed. While this was going on Burkhardt lapped me. First Don repassed you, then Burkhardt passed you and finally in turn 11 on the last lap I repassed you.
That would explain why you thought Scanlan finished 4th. Actually I did.
CDS distance?, your pick-up isn't on the rear wheel is it, I think the spinning they did on the grass on the warm-up lap alone would be worth 1/2 a lap.
Guys were flying off everywhere but my crew and Billy G's crew had Burkhardt in second from the time Jim H pulled off. As they were updating me. "Your in 4th, Third's right in front of you and 1st and 2nd are catching you"
Then again I could be completely wrong...........................
Anyway We'll see you in Savanah. Gale's first race back. Later.

I just talked to Brenda and she will email the final results tonight. I also spoke with Mike and we came to the conclusion that Mike didnt lap you, but had passed you back after spinning. He still says that he just passed Don at the s/f. If it shows that he lapped Don then maybe I didnt lap Mike...
See ya at Savannah,
John
Ummm..yeah. She had me listed as DNS...I'm fairly certain I was in the race. Granted, I didn't finish it (mechanical), but I certainly started it.Originally Posted by Curtis Boggs
