I am restoring a FF and want to keep the original Armstrong shocks. Can anyone recommend someone that can rebuild/restore them to their original condition?

For what it's worth, I have one old armstrong that's got a dented body. It looks rebuildable - anybody interested in making me an offer for it?Originally Posted by Monte Wilson

Call Archie Hodge Renton, Wa. - 206 979 1405. He has done Armstrongs and Konis for me - excellent work, very fairly priced. Also does steering racks by the way.
Archie has done good work for me too.
It may just be a coincidence, but shocks I had done by Porter came back in a box with Archie's address on it.

Ditto on Archie Hodge. He completely rebuilt some 36 year old Armstrong Adjustables for me late last year. Turnaournd time was great and he seems very knowledgable on the older Armstrongs.
Archie also does frame work. He did a complete rebuild on my Crossle 32 a few years ago; basically cut out the main hoop and started from scratch. I watched him in the finshing stages; he makes very clean welds - craftsman-like. Noe if them ever cracked or failed while I had the car. If his shock work is similar, I'd trust it.Originally Posted by Robert J. Alder

Archie has done several frame repair / modification jobs for us, he just finished a total rebuild / restoration of a historically significant Titan Mk 6 frame for us - absolutely beautiful workmanship as always.
Thanks everyone for the information! I think Archie sounds like the way to go.
