    Default Pat Prince

I just was informed of this. I don’t know any date or details.
I befriended him at RA about the same time I started racing. He would spectate from the outside of turn twelve, where we always watched. Neither one of us were aware that we both were involved in the sport. Over the years, he mentored me. When I had a question, he was always available to help. Even up until recently. He’s the one who sold me all my alignment tools and coached me through the learning process. Damn shame. I will miss him.

    Default Pat Prince

We first met when I drove Formula Fords, normally at Blackhawk Farms or RA. After I stopped driving we still talked on the phone at least a few times a year. Last we spoke, he told me about getting out of his "this back breaking" business. I always thought he was a real nice guy. The racing community missed him long before now.

Great fabricator that restored a few of my parts at what I always thought was a fair price.

To PERFECTION, Pat did two (2) chassis for me. A skilled artisan, humble, and a gracious man. He will be missed.

Pat was such a master of his craft. We utilized his skills on a few occasions where bolt on parts weren't an option. Sad to read of his passing.

So sad to learn this, Pat was an artist at fabrication. Back in the late 90s he was our problem solver, I'd tell him I'd wanted to change this on the car and he would say yeah, I can do that, and he would do it! Sometimes not always the fastest, lol but once you got it, it worked! He built our Carbir S2 tub and some of the mods for it, we won 8 National Championship with that car and he was a part of that. Thank you, my friend, RIP Pat.
