Looking for used American Racer Tires for FF

I'm planing on running with the FRCCA this year when the season gets underway and I would like to have the opertunity to practice on the American Racer Tires before the first race. I'm looking for an inexpensive set of used tires for a Formula Ford that are not to old and still have at least a little life in them. Let me know what you have. Thank you!

We've raced on them here for more than 20 years out west in SFR. They behave very similar to Hoosier R60s. Some like the R60s a little better for consistency.

That said, once they have been through some heat cycles and then put away, they come back much slower to their original grip, if they do at all. For all the effort & cost to mount and balance a used set, a fresh set will tell give you much more useful feel and help you tune your car far more easily than a used set. If you want, I can PM you some alignment/setup info for them.

The rear tire sidewalls are very soft. Expect the wheel to move 2 to 2-1/2" inside the tire under cornering, so make sure you have adequate clearance to your suspension rod ends at the uprights.
