Wanted To Buy Seeking Caldwell D9 that I used to own.

I am quite interested in finding this vehicle, I owned Caldwell D9 #6908002 (or perhaps #69080020) for about 12 years and participated in events in the Pacific Northwest. I sold the car in the 1980's to a gentleman who lived near Port Angeles, WA. A couple of years later, I inquired as if I could purchase it back from him, but to no avail. He may have moved to Alaska, and taken it with him, or maybe he sold it. In any event, I would be interested in finding out where it is now. As can be seen, I modified the body a little to get my face out of the wind. I think I remember that the purchaser intended to use it in autocross events, and then at a later time, he said he was going to move to Alaska (but I do not know if he actually did). I have searched on the internet for autocross/sportscar activities in Alaska, without any success. I purchased it from a David Pearson of Seattle in 1971 or 1972. He had purchased it from a Mark L. Word of Marietta GA, in 1970. I acquired a D9B update kit from Autodynamics/Fast Company which consisted of extenders to raise the rear upright upper link attachment position, and If I remember correctly, a small frame reinforcement at a front suspension attachment location. I had a piece of wire mesh welded into the roll hoop to provide mounting for the headrest. The vehicle came with a Doug Fraser Cortina, which I ran for a year or two, and then replaced with a Shankle uprated. I do hope someone on this forum knows where it might be found.

Charlie Lyford in the Seattle area drives a Caldwell and I believe Laurie Lyford still owns a second. Their shop is T-Zero located in Preston, just east of Issaquah..

Thank you for your response. I did go to the T-Zero shop approximately 18 months ago to see their Caldwell D9's. I was assured by the formula ford restoration specialist there that the Caldwell that I used to own was not one of the two (or three) that T-zero owned at that time.
