Which Kent exhaust gasket?

Curious what others are using for the head to exhaust manifold?
I’ve used thick, thin and none with red RTV with varying success.

They tend to bend the flanges over time and retightining.

I’ve just used just normal garden variety RTV, but left to go off for a good hour before tightening properly. Worked a treat.

I also use the one piece Ivey gasket. The ones Pegasus sells do not have slotted end holes.

I'll add to this that the use of RTV without a gasket only works if you haven't used a gasket and bent the flanges already.

I do use RTV on one side of the spacer I need to use on the XPAG with the Manley manifold since I don't have a Laystall head (yet)

Mike - you may be the only one on this site that understands the above.
