Van Diemen RF03 that I have owned and then run periodically since 2008
Most recent outing at Homestead and Sebring in 2022 Winter Nationals. 2nd at the first event and did not start at Sebring. Previously won twice at New Jersey nationals with my daughter in the car and prior to that ran in the FRP Series.

Engine needs a rebuild, it has damage the severity of which I am not certain of, hence the price of only $16,500.

Rest of the car is sound and competitive as shown at the recent events.

I don't think any RF03 cars were build with a Pinto.

But I could be wrong.

My apologies if I have missed replying to anyone over the last 24 hours. But in case I have I will try to address the questions most people have asked
- It is a Zetec
- Engine damage is not known. There is no external block damage, Sandy from Quicksilver tried to help me get the car started at Sebring. Damage due to a missed upshift over one of the bumps at Sebring. Drained the oil when I got back and definitely bearing damage, possibly piston. As previously mentioned I have priced the engine as if scrap (but I don't believe it will be).
- Photos, I am 70 miles from the car and the race prep shop is going to send me through some without the bodywork on in the next 24 hours. I have attached a couple of recent ones on track and stationary

To all the people who reached out, many thanks, I think I could have sold it 5 times based upon the interest.

To the people at FRP (Bob Wright and in the early years Mike Rand and Purple Frog) thanks for an excellent series and venues to run the car, it was a total blast and I hope the new owner gets as much fun from the car as I did.

Yeah the car sold pretty quickly. I have a large inventory of late model VD spares that I will be posting as a package fairly soon. Just need to go over to the race shop and take some photos. Hope all is well with yourself and Alex.
