For Sale Large Selection of MK8/9 Gears Available

I have a great number of MK series gears that I no longer need. I have gone through them all to determine condition of each set, the main criterion being the edge condition of the dogs on the drive gear. As we all know, these edges can get beat up by means of a driver who does not know how to shift, as well as by lots of usage by good shifters. These gear sets range all the way from practically new (perhaps really new) to only fair condition. Some are standard Hewland gears; some are Hewland M series gears. This lot may include a few Webster gears as well, but I have not found any Webster logos or other markings to make me believe they are anything but Hewland. Be aware, however, that there may be a Webster among them that I did not identify. A few of these are ratios no longer made and are difficult to find. As for condition, even those I have determined to be poor can still provide useful life behind a clean shifter. If you are in need of gears (who among us is not?) please go through this list to pick out those that will help you be geared better for the tracks you run. I'll give you a little better deal on three or more sets.

    Pricing is:

    As new - $175
    Excellent - $150
    Very Good - $125
    Good - $100
    Fair - $75

    Default Reduced Prices

I have had few takers on the Hewland MK series ratios so far. Did I set the prices too high? If so, I'm lowering them by $25 for each category. All "As new" category gear sets are now $150; all "Fair" condition gear sets are now $50. Same for all categories in between. Discount pricing for sets to accommodate particular tracks or for larger selections also available. Let me know what you need.

I'm looking for 23/28 and 21/30. What's your pricing for "poor gears" if I purchase the 23/28 set. Ed

Default No Ratios Available at this Time

Tom, I have checked and do not have a 24/28 ratio. I have sold many of the sets on this list now and will soon make a new post showing which sets I do have left and note again the condition of each. Meanwhile, we should probably put this posting to rest, as I failed to denote some of the sales that were made and the list is no longer accurate. Stay tuned for a new post of available gear sets soon. Thanks to Apex and to all who contacted me about ratios.

I have sold a lot of the ratios listed above, but I'm almost certain that I still have two good sets of the 25/27s. If you will send me a PM with a shipping address, I'll check for the ratios when I get home this evening and get back to you with photos. Thanks for contacting me.

I'm confused about how the PM inbox on Apex works. It only had four messages in it. I have cleared it out now, but how can it have been full when only having 4 messages in it? Can someone explain that? Anyway, Keith, please try again.

    Thanks.

Just checked. The only MK9 hub I have is a 2/3, used but still in good usable condition.

Are you saving messages you've sent out? It's the default and that will use up your default allocation.
