    Default VD Parts Interchangeability

As I attempt to accumulate some spares for my recent RF81 purchase, it would be helpful to know what parts exchanged with what other year VDs. Obviously, I'm mainly after suspension pieces. Does anyone know off the top of their head what other year VDs are compatible with my '81 suspension?

    Thanks!

I have an 81 and 82 but certainly not an expert.
80 outboard front suspension not similar. Rear outboard maybe similar.
    81 inboard front, outboard rear.
82 inboard front and rear. Similar front, very different rear
83 similar to 82 but center pull hubs instead of four bolt hubs. Track width change?
Hopefully others will add more info.

78-81 rear suspension is all the same. Sometimes the rear uprights have two holes on the upper mount.

It's not how fast you go.
