    Crossle 30 / 40 SOLD

    30F updated with 40 Body. Located at Sonoma Raceway

    Professionally gone through and maintained since purchased 2019 as a spare car. Invoices for 18K labor and parts to bring to top safety and mechanical condition.

    Engine : 6 hour old brand new Ivy motor, no used parts used in building this motor from the air cleaner to the Moroso aluminum oil pan and Tilton clutch. Including Ivy specified ignition coil. Expanded oil tank capacity with custom oil surge/separation system. Has all their best parts and modifications. Dynoed at 115 hp, fully competitive ready for many hours of use. Dyno sheet included
    Transmission : Mk 9 with new Hewland pinion bearing and new aluminum diff carrier mounted on quality Timken bearings. New shift forks correctly Hewland jig aligned . Annular clutch release with new -4 lines.

    12 gear sets
    New factory shift linkage front to back.
    New oil cooler
    New oil lines
    New mechanical fuel pump and line
    New rear camber link rod ends inner and outer.
    Replaced original hard brake lines with new -3 lines
    New front brake discs and wheel bearings
    4 New custom valved Koni double adjustable shock from PSI
    New springs
    New rear master cylinder
    Brake calipers rebuilt
    Aluminum radiator
    Aluminum Front hubs
    Lightened CV joints inner and outer
    Weight : no fuel or driver 871 lbs.
    Light weight body parts requiring substantial ballast to make legal weight. Lots of room under seat
    Radiator mounting sub frame modified to allow “give” when grounded instead of breaking the support struts.
    Rear cross member modified for easier engine/transmission removal
    Custom machined flywheel / skid protection plate
    Oil cooler mounted inside chassis along with enclosed engine bay to improve rear air flow (think Swift FF).
    Left foot brake pedal modification (Porter Racing) with custom “dead pedal”
    SPA removable steering wheel mount
    Belts good to 2024
    ** Hard wired/ no subscription transponder.

    Full MyChron onboard computer system with throttle, steering, G forces, RPM, oil pressure / water temp and lap time with full display dash. Multiple for height dash mounting locations.

    Two sets of wheels, spare new front lower a-arms and set of rear trailing arms. New unfitted nose. A calibrated fuel stick along with camber gauge and alternate steering wheel.

    Not a show piece, the emphasis was put on a strong safe reliable car. Keep in mind these cars are on average 45 to 50 years old and were run hard. You can get one with all the effort on making it pretty and then end up spending many thousands upon thousands getting it to run reliably and not DNF out a weekend. A new Ivy motor is about $12k Front running cars are averaging 40K in on the grid cost.

    Hate to nitpick but obviously the nose to Crossle 40F , maybe 45F, but it certainly is not 42 as the 42S was a Sports 2000 car !

    Those spare A-arms are the original Model 30 pieces. The installed 32 pieces are a definite upgrade. The aluminum floor and sides for the engine bay are also special. Note also that the motor mounts are not the original crack-prone items but machined from billet stock.

    This car served me well, but it's been improved.

    I was asked about the weight. I've added that info to the listing. The no fuel or driver but with full bodywork weight is 871 lbs. The picture of the cockpit less the seat shows the over 60 lbs of 1/2 inch ballast bolted to the floor.
