SF90 Reynard


I’ve decided to take a break from racing for a bit so I can buy a house. I’m selling my SF90 Reynard after racing it last year with the GLC. The car was last raced at Waterford Hills in September 2021.

I bought the car in 2019 and spent 1.5 years completing a frame up restoration of the car. Impossible to list everything that was done, but every single component was rebuilt or replaced with new components. The car has been extremely reliable this past season through driver school and 5 race weekends.

The car is currently winterized. I brought the firebottle inside, removed coolant, and fogged the cylinders heads. Other than that it’s ready to race.

The Car:

• Wrapped in dark matte red. It’s a racecar wrap job, looks good on track where it matters
• Rebuilt Long Rod PINTO engine with ~12 hrs of race time
  
  • Complete teardown, new bearings, rings, block honed, crankshaft shotpeened, magnafluxed, and polished
  • Ivey prepped head with updated cam (Elite Engines)
  • Lightened flywheel (Elite Engines)
  • Brand-new Ivey prepped carb
  • New Long Rod Piston kit
  • New billet TDC oil pump
  • New ignition coil, spark plug wires, fuel pump, belts, oil lines, everything replaceable, etc.
  • Engine broken in on dyno after rebuild. Dyno'd at 131 hp peak at a local drag racer's shop. 'Low' number most likely due to dyno-to-dyno variation (this dyno is regularly used for engines with >1000hp). John rebuilt his pinto with me and used the same dyno a few days earlier and got similar results.

• Transmission was setup by Keith Averill before last season. He replaced the 1-2 and 3-4 shift forks with new ones

• Excellent running condition, White exterior well faded, some scratches

• -5200 lb. Axle/Brake assemblies replaced new in 2019
• Generator exterior compartment
• 'L' Counter in Stainless Steel 28" deep
• Cabinets above and below entire countertop
• 30 Amp Electrical package with excellent lighting and many outlets
• E-track all along sides and floor
• Diamond Plate floor with 10 'D' rings installed
• 15,000 BTU Coleman air conditioner in front
• Ceiling and Sidewall Vent at rear

• E track tie straps included. I have 4 wheel tie downs and one I used for a tool box
• I’m storing a few things in the trailer, those aren’t included in the sale

Oh, he forgot to mention.
He was the 2021 CFC Champion with this car in the GLC Series.
Finished needing a tie-breaker after 10 races, so not a cake-walk year.
