Default FS: 2009 Phoenix F1000 Race car, Spares & Trailer package

    2009Phoenix F1000 Complete Race Package $32,500

This is a very competitive turn-key package, which includes the car and a large assortment of spares, tools and 5th wheel trailer. The car is fast, and has been a Regional Champ, andMajors Winner and Champ, but it still has much untapped potential for an owner who is willing to give it some attention. The previous owner and racer unfortunately passed away. It was prepped for storage and sat for a couple years here in Colorado. It has finished 1st at High Plains Raceway in 2015 and 2016,2nd at Pueblo in 2014, Conference Champ at HPR, and had anew engine put in in 2017 for the runoffs, but never raced.

The car was formerly driven by Dave Mirk. I’m selling on behalf of his wife and son, and will do my best to answer any questions, though I'm not an F1000 expert. The car is located in my shop in Colorado Springs, CO.

This particular car was apparently the prototype and development mule for Phoenix, according to one of the people that used to be withPhoenix Raceworks. They mentioned it was always a little lighter and faster than the other cars, and could never figure out exactly why.

    Car includes:
New Rilltech Racing 2007 GSXR 1000 motor
    AiM data system
    Push/pull cable shifter
    Williams differential
    BBS and Jongbloed wheels
    Camera system
Trailer wheels made from motorcycle wheels
Tires are a few years old, but used one session—R35S
    Set of rain tires

    Chassis/Suspension:
    4 sets of springs
Almost a full extra set of suspension (minus right rear, push rods, steering track rods)
    Front wing assembly complete
Front nose (needs mounting holes fixed)
    Rear wing assembly complete
    Rear attenuator
    Rear diffuser
    Lower T-Tray

    Engine:
Complete spare motor (pan to injection), runs, but could use a rebuild. Might be a 600 instead of a 1000, not 100%
    Oil cooler
    Radiator
    Motor shipping frame with casters

    Tools/Misc.:
    Tire cart/work bench
    Scales and level pad
    High and low jack stands
    Front and rear jacks
Many extra parts, including but not limited to: gears, sprockets, car specific tools, chains, etc.

5th wheel trailer – with everything inside

Congrats! More solid proof that interest in racing is not dead. This car was only on the market for a day!

Awesome seeing the old F1000 Pro Series sticker on the spare nose cone. Brings back a lot of good memories. Not 100% sure but this car looks like it was Russ Werner's old car.

I purchased the car from Russ in 2011, then later sold it.
