Default SARRC and TT at Barber Motorsports Park, August 28-29

Yes, there will be a Double SARRC and TT at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, AL on August 28-29, 2021. Registration is now open on Motorsportsreg.com. Barber is one of the most picturesque tracks in the country. It was just repaved in 2018. There is also the Barber Motorcycle Museum on site. Seven floors of cars and motorcycles overlooking the track. Spending a few hours there is simply not enough.

The TT essentially provides practice sessions (open passing) for the Road Racers plus a group (restricted passing) for the National TT classes. All cars (GCR, Regional, TTN, etc) that meet safety standards are welcome. About 52% of the SARRC drivers take advantage of the one or two day TT sessions.

Despite the old rumors about Barber charging drivers for damage, SCCA insurance covers track damage.

And it's seriously the most fun track, especially in my FF!

Although registration closes at 2400 on Monday August 23, we can manage to take walk-ins. But it easier on the Registrar if everyone registers in advance.

    Hope to see you there.
