Dulon MP21 Project

’79 Dulon MP21 slider (no engine/gearbox/wheels). Frame has been striped and repainted (gray). New aluminum floor pan glued and riveted. Nice nose and main bodywork. Also have a long tail and original "short" engine cover. Car is complete with fire system, wiring, plumbing, header, radiators, shocks, fuel cell and oil tank. There are two axles with the car (need rebuilt) but not sure they are correct. Two different headers and misc. parts (coils, oil cooler, etc.). Four incorrect wheels. Also have a 1600 engine block (condition and history unknown). No logbook. Chassis is disassembled. $2,500

You said the car comes with an engine block.
Is that the same engine in the attached picture?
Only asking because the engine pictured is a long block with cylinder head.

I have a question, and a comment. First, I see in the second picture, the car has Compomotive wheels. I know this is a project car, but are you interested in selling them separately? (I have a Tiga with those wheels and I'd love to get another set...). Second, for anyone who might be interested, I have three hubs that are marked MP21's. There was a client in the shop who had a Dulon MP21, so they probably are right. (I would, of course, verify that for anyone who wants them.)

One more thing: in the picture, is that a Nissan pickup from the SCCA truck series in the 80's?! That could be a fun 'vintage' racer! (One of the times the SCCA was ahead of the game....)

I actually sold the chassis without the wheels, so still have the wheels. Make me an offer. Not sure what shipping to CA would be but we could figure that out. Shipping from Cincinnati, Ohio.


The Nissan pickup is owned by the person I bought the Dulon from.
