This Phoenix F1K12 has claimed three SCCA track records,11 SCCA Majors Wins and finished 4th in the 2016 SCCA National Championship Runoffs at Mid Ohio. It is an extremely fast and safe race car that is also easy to drive.
This car has been constantly maintained and developed and has all the factory upgrades including rear wheel flip-ups, updated rear wing, custom inner wheel covers, upgraded rear half shafts and tripods and as of April, 2017 a state-of-the-art implementation of the Geartronics paddle shift system.
MAY 5, 2017 UPDATE: We completed the upgrade of the Geartronics system by removing the air compressor, feeder line and accumulator tank and installing a Ninja paintball tank and regulator that we sourced from the Geartronics dealer (XLR8). It's beautifully installed with bespoke mounting brackets for both the valve block and tank, and it delivers numerous benefits over the prior implementation (6 lb. weight reduction, removal of the 12V draw on the battery, less maintenance, better packaging, improved performance). We raced it at Buttonwillow April 28-29, 2017, and it shifts beautifully. So this sale now includes the updated Geartronics system along with 3 (3) spare Ninja SL 77 Carbon Fiber tanks.
