It surely will mean the end of things as we have always known them.
Having been on the "deciding end" of decisions... It sure insures that the innocent remain innocent.
Even when watching their own video, plus the video of an uninvolved car behind, drivers still refuse to believe they could possibly be at fault.

Paul,
Unfortunately I've seen that too. We had one spec pinata driver who had three contact incidents in two races over a weekend. He thought we were picking on him.

I get your point, I wouldn't care to have the sport devolve into a world of instant replays - but that is pretty far from how racing works, you have to admit.
Besides, I dunno about you, but I definitely don't trust the Stews to see what I see. Of course, I already have multiple cameras on my racecars, have been running them for a very long time. But have had zero protests (in 20 years of racing), so haven't needed to cough up any video either...
Far better to have a video and not need it, than to need a video and not have it...

I have an AIM camera on the car.
I'm adding a cheap motorcycle camera/dvr (about $120) with 2 cameras.
It'll just run on a loop and be there to meet the needs.
I think this is the one I bought:

But, you can meet the need for $46 !
