    Default Jeff Gordon gets revenge

For those who did not see the original video where a heavily disguised Jeff Gordon pranked a car salesman with the ride of his life, the video afterwards was criticized by certain pundits as being fake. Jeff got revenge on one of them by turning him into a wimpering ***** in another ride.

It's hard to imagine a big company like Pepsi supporting this.

Heh, I remember when Pepsi drivers were knocking PowerAde bottles (a Coke product) off their roofs in victory lane until NASCAR said stop it. Then Jimmy Johnson put a Pepsi sign in front of one to block it and got a $10K fine.

If I was sponsored by Pepsi, I'd continue to put the Pepsi sign up to block it and gladly pay the fine.

Until the fine was larger than the sponsorship check

Coke is/was paying NASCAR sponsorship money. If NASCAR is allowing folks to block said sponsorship then COKE will pull theirs.

In off-road, drag and circle track racing it is common to be required to run certain product decals on your car because those companies contribute to purse/fees to run event. You can run competing equipment but aren't allowed to advertise competing equipment logos. For example maybe you run NGK plugs but the series is sponsored by Champion. You can't put NGK plug stickers on your car or crew/driver uniforms and remain eligible for purse/contingency money.

In my way back days the Cup guys used to do this stuff all the time as the sponsors loved it.

Keyboard jockeys rarely know what a professional driver is able to do with a vehicle. Suspect there were skid marks on the tighty whiteys.

Agreed, however, when you are in the back seat of a taxi, not in control, and fear that a felon of unknown origin is running form the police with you in the car, I think anyone would be terrified.

That's a helluva big difference from sitting next to Jeff Gordon in a sports car hooning on a track.

I don't think the driving bothered/scared him a bit. The fact that they were being chased by a cop and was an unwilling participant/hostage is where the fear was likely rooted.

Fast driving? No. Kidnapping, possibly. For certain demanded he pull over immediately.
