Is there an option to find old theads up to a year old?

Jason, all posts since the sites were established in November of 2000 are still in the archives.

In the black/green nav bar up above the forums, there is a "Search" button where you will get a drop-down menu and a quick search field. Below that is a link that says, "Advanced Search." Click that link and you'll find a VERY comprehensive search menu to allow you to even pinpoint the post to the date it was made.
